Job summary

Codup is seeking a proactive IT Operations and System Administration professional to manage and enhance our IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability and business continuity across the organization.

The role covers hands-on network troubleshooting, firewall administration, on-prem servers and SaaS administration, with emphasis on visibility and uptime. You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in IT operations, systems administration and networking.
• Exposure to AWS Cloud and DevOps tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations across networking, systems administration, end-user support and infrastructure availability.
• Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues across office and operational environments.
• Maintain internet failover readiness and coordinate continuity measures to minimize downtime.
• Administer firewall policies, VPN connectivity and network access controls.
• Manage switches, VLANs, wireless networks and access points for stable connectivity and segmentation.
• Monitor infrastructure health, uptime, latency, and alerts through centralized monitoring tools.
• Provide Windows-based user support, including installation, troubleshooting and device setup.
• Manage IT assets, including allocation, tracking and lifecycle visibility.
• Administer SaaS platforms and internal productivity tools, including account provisioning.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong IT Operations and System Administration professional with a solid networking background to manage and enhance our organization’s IT infrastructure. The role requires hands‑on ownership of network troubleshooting, internet failover, firewall administration, switches, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, monitoring systems, on‑premises servers, endpoint support, asset management, and SaaS administration. The ideal candidate should be able to take initiative, improve operational visibility, and support business continuity through reliable infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day IT operations across networking, systems administration, end‑user support, and infrastructure availability.
• Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues across office and operational environments.
• Maintain internet failover readiness and coordinate continuity measures to minimize downtime.
• Administer firewall policies, VPN connectivity, and network access controls in alignment with operational and security requirements.
• Manage switches, VLANs, wireless networks, and access points to ensure stable internal connectivity and proper segmentation.
• Maintain and support on‑premises servers and core infrastructure services.
• Monitor infrastructure health, network performance, uptime, latency, bandwidth utilization, and system alerts through centralized monitoring tools.
• Provide Windows‑based user support, including installation, troubleshooting, device setup, and issue resolution.
• Manage organizational IT assets, including allocation, tracking, lifecycle visibility, and basic compliance controls.
• Administer SaaS platforms and internal productivity tools, including account provisioning, access coordination, and general operational support.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve infrastructure reliability, operational visibility, and issue response time.
• Take ownership of recurring issues, identify root causes, and proactively recommend improvements to strengthen the IT environment.

Required Skills and Platform Exposure

Core Technical Skills

• Network troubleshooting and diagnostics – pfSense, MikroTik, VPNs
• Firewall and internet failover management – Zabbix monitoring
• Switching, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, and access point support – Unified/UniFi access points, switches

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience in IT operations, system administration, and networking.
• Good understanding of endpoint support, infrastructure monitoring, and operational ownership.
• Exposure to AWS Cloud and DevOps tools will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to the growth and improvement of the organization.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
