Job summary

Huawei Pakistan is seeking an experienced IMS/CS Core Network Senior Engineer to join our Core Network Operations team in Pakistan. You will ensure reliable, available, and high-performing Cloud Core platforms while coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch network operations and support.

You will lead L2 support for IMS/CS Core networks, troubleshoot complex signaling issues, perform upgrades, and analyze KPIs to prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Telecommunications/EE/IT or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of IMS/CS Core Network Operations or Core Network Engineering.
• Experience in telecom operators or vendors is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 operational support for IMS and CS Core network platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to IMS, CS Core, VoLTE, and signaling networks.
• Perform software upgrades, patch installation, and system maintenance activities.
• Analyze alarms, network KPIs, and health check reports to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure network availability and SLA compliance across Cloud Core platforms.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and recommend preventive actions.
• Support customer technical queries and maintain regular communication with customer technical teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network operations.
• Maintain high service quality through proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Support 24/7 network operations when required.
