Position Summary
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced post-sales technical services at the customer site, with a primary focus on security products. The role ensures successful deployment, operation, and optimization of firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, 2FA, NAC, threat intelligence, core network devices, and related technologies, while delivering a superior customer experience through direct, on‑site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, configuration, operation, and optimization of core network devices at the customer site.
- Provide post‑deployment maintenance support, incident resolution, and technical troubleshooting for core networking products and integrated infrastructure.
- Assist customer teams in managing routing, switching, network security, and data center operations.
- Collaborate with Cisco, Huawei, and Fortinet TAC and internal engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge on Huawei, Cisco, and Fortinet products.
- Provide guidance and technical training to customer teams on the deployed product.
- Lead off‑hours upgrades, change implementations, and proactive health checks.
- Document configurations, procedures, best practices, and network diagrams.
- Participate in design validation, RCA, and operational improvement sessions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and act as the technical face of the organization on‑site.
Required Skills
- Must have hands‑on experience delivering at least one Data Center/Security Deployment project.
- Strong command of routing and switching protocols: STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRFs.
- Experience with route‑based and policy‑based IPsec VPNs.
- In‑depth knowledge of Cisco NGFW, NGIPS, Cisco ISE/AAA systems, Wireless, SDWAN, SD‑Access, and Nexus products.
- Strong understanding of IT operations in Banking or Enterprise data center environments.
- Ability to lead critical operations and emergency troubleshooting independently.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in network deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, especially in data center environments.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA Enterprise/Security (Required); Cisco CCNP Enterprise/Security (Preferred).
