Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to analyze, prepare, implement and verify configuration and integration of Ericsson Cloud Solution. The role covers introduction, upgrade, functionality and capacity scenarios for cloud deployments.

You will design offerings, analyze requirements, and collaborate with the core team on activities. Expect hands-on deployment, customer presentations, and potential pre-sales involvement. Islamabad-based role with travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or Information Technology (or a degree in a relevant field).
• At least 7 years of experience in Private Cloud Deployment.
• Strong OpenStack and Kubernetes knowledge is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Networking concepts.
• Strong understanding of different storage concepts.
• Familiar with 3PP hardware such as Dell/HP/Lenovo.
• Experienced in Linux knowledge and practice.
• Problem Solving Ability and continuous learning mindset.
• Ability to plan, design, and implement cloud solutions with sustainable improvements.
• Certification in IP Networking domains like CCNA/CCNP is a plus.

We are now looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of Ericsson Cloud Solution. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Scope, define and design solution offerings; involved in the integration process if needed for Ericsson Cloud Solutions and optionally 3PP Cloud Solutions
• Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis
• Work with the core team on a list of potential activities and solutions
• Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
• Personally involved and support the deployment of the solution
• Provide feedback to R&D
• Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing
• Stay abreast of new technology/technical areas and share information about solutions to enable customer competence to build
• Plan the implementation of the product configuration/integration work
• Implement product configuration
• Implement integration and migration work
• Prepare and implement system testing and acceptance testing
• Work to identify and drive improvements
• Support post-project activities
• Meet with customers for technical discussions and workshops
• Occasionally support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or Information Technology (or a degree in a relevant field)
