Job summary

Al-Mehdi Group of Industries in Karachi is seeking an Import & Export Operations Manager to lead our global trade activities, ensuring end-to-end handling from order placement to delivery.

The role requires 5–8 years in import/export operations, strong negotiation and documentation skills, and proficiency with Excel; familiarity with ERP or logistics software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations and international logistics.
• Experience in negotiating supplier pricing, freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing trade documentation (invoices, BL, COO, packing lists, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and Incoterms (especially FOB).
• Strong coordination skills for working with suppliers, freight partners, and banking institutions.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or logistics management systems is a plus.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all international transactions.
