Job summary

Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy in Islamabad is seeking a Full Time Training Specialist to plan, develop and direct teacher education activities under the supervision of the Training Director.

The role involves designing content, reviewing curriculum materials, creating training tools, and delivering programs aligned with national standards, while leading capacity-building initiatives and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from a recognized University in Education and/or specific subject.
• Certificate in teacher training.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the education or development sector.

Responsibilities

• Fulfils an overall responsibility of implementation of content and pedagogy of National Curriculum standards at the program level in all directly managed and partner projects.
• Develop tools and support in carrying out a needs analysis for identifying the gaps in the teaching skills of the teachers.
• Develop relevant course content and resources/tools for supplementing the delivery of the courses (guidebooks, videos, printable material, etc.) which meet the job performance standards of teachers.
• Use knowledge and understanding of relevant issues, ideas and theories for developing and directing training and material development (courses, TLMs, Assessment tools).
• Design training which meets the need for blended learning and face-to‑face learning modes.
