HRSI is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead technicians, subcontractors and field teams in installation, maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems in a Karachi-based project. The role requires planning daily maintenance, inspecting chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV, and coordinating with other MEP disciplines.
Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, monitoring preventive programs, reviewing drawings and specs, ensuring safe handover, and maintaining detailed service records for
Supervise HVAC technicians, mechanics, and subcontractors during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
Plan and coordinate daily HVAC maintenance and work schedules.
Inspect HVAC equipment and systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, package units, split units, pumps, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
Diagnose HVAC system faults and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance.
Monitor preventive maintenance programs and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
Review technical drawings, equipment specifications, method statements, and maintenance procedures.
Coordinate HVAC activities with electrical, plumbing, civil, and other MEP teams.
Ensure proper installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC systems.
Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for HVAC activities.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, equipment performance, and service reports.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential equipment failures or operational issues.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and management regarding HVAC-related activities.
Provide technical guidance and support to HVAC technicians and junior staff.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and energy efficiency.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and maintenance reports.
Ensure all HVAC tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used.
