Job description

At Get Licensed, we help people get trained, get licensed and find work, and we do this by leveraging technology to make the whole process as efficient and easy as possible. We operate across a number of verticals, and we’re looking to expand those verticals to cater to demand in the UK. We've helped more than 400,000 people get licensed and find work and are consistently rated 5-star on Trustpilot with over 32,000 reviews.

Get Licensed is a fast-paced technology business at heart (the majority of our team are developers or tech wizards), and we are at an exciting stage of our business, having tripled since 2020. We have ambitious plans to significantly scale our existing business, broaden our product suite, and continue to grow profitably revenue year on year, with a clear roadmap of how we will get there.

About the Role

We’re looking for a tech-first, AI-savvy HR Business Partner with 5–7 years of relevant experience. You’ll bring strong HR fundamentals, take a hands‑on approach to delivery, and actively use technology to improve how we work. Your priorities will be HR operations, recruitment, performance management, driving culture and automating HR processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Keep HR operations organised and reliable: manage employee records, contracts, policies, attendance, leave and documentation, supporting compliance with applicable Pakistan labour laws.
  • Manage recruitment from brief to joining: partner with hiring managers to define roles, source and assess candidates, coordinate interviews and offers, and deliver a positive candidate experience.
  • Make onboarding count: coordinate pre-boarding, induction and 30-, 60- and 90-day check-ins so new hires understand their roles and feel part of the team.
  • Drive performance management: coordinate quarterly and annual reviews, help managers define meaningful KPIs, and support constructive feedback and performance improvement plans.
  • Drive culture and employee engagement: bring company values into everyday behaviors, strengthen accountability and collaboration, and work with managers to build a positive, high‑performance environment. Deliver recognition programmes, engagement initiatives and internal communications, turning employee feedback into action.
  • Automate HR processes: identify repetitive tasks and build practical AI-assisted workflows for onboarding, recruitment administration, employee queries, reporting and performance review follow‑ups. Use tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Manus to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
  • Support employee relations: handle concerns sensitively, help managers navigate difficult conversations, and apply policies fairly and consistently.
  • Coordinate payroll and benefits: work with Finance on accurate payroll inputs and coordinate OPD claims, health insurance queries, renewals and provider relationships.
  • Use HR data to inform decisions: track recruitment, turnover, retention, attendance and performance trends, sharing clear insights and recommended actions.
  • Develop learning and wellbeing initiatives: identify skill gaps and employee needs, then coordinate relevant training and wellness activities as priorities evolve.
Must-Have Requirements
  • 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, with broad, hands‑on exposure across HR operations, recruitment, performance management and employee engagement.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • A tech-first, AI-savvy approach, comfortable exploring new tools and applying them to real operational problems.
  • Familiarity with building practical tools and workflows using Claude or ChatGPT, such as reusable assistants, onboarding tools, employee FAQ resources or reporting workflows.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Manus or Grok, with sound judgment around accuracy, confidentiality and employee data.
  • Confidence using HRIS platforms to maintain accurate records, analyse data and improve processes.
  • Experience taking ownership of HR processes and working directly with managers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
  • Hands‑on experience managing end-to-end recruitment.
  • Sound working knowledge of Pakistan employment requirements, HR documentation and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Practical experience supporting performance reviews, KPIs and PIPs.
  • Experience driving culture and employee engagement, with examples of influencing behaviours, acting on feedback and improving the employee experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the judgment to handle sensitive matters professionally.
  • A self‑starter mindset, able to prioritize, manage competing demands and follow through without constant supervision.
Preferred Skills & Background
  • Candidates with a degree from a leading business school are preferred, alongside strong practical HR experience.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, technology-enabled business or working with UK-based teams.
  • Exposure to HRIS implementation, no-code automation or process improvement.
  • Experience coordinating learning and development, management training or employee wellbeing programmes.
  • Practical experience managing health insurance, OPD benefits and vendor relationships.

What we offer:

  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth within People & Culture.
  • Hands‑on exposure to HR technology, people analytics, and process improvement projects.
  • The opportunity to contribute to employee learning, engagement, and the wider employee experience.
  • A collaborative team where ideas are welcomed, ownership is encouraged, and contributions are recognised.
