Maintain HR policies and documentation: Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, employment contracts, offer letters, warning letters and other HR documents.
Ensure HR compliance: Maintain employment records and support compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory obligations, EOBI, social security and income tax requirements, in coordination with the relevant advisers or payroll personnel.
Oversee HR administration: Maintain employee files, staff records, company asset handovers, office documentation and other administrative records requiring HR oversight.
Monitor employee engagement and retention: Identify workplace concerns, gather feedback, support team engagement initiatives and recommend practical improvements to employee satisfaction and retention.

HR operations: Strong practical knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave management, payroll coordination and employee lifecycle administration.
Recruitment and selection: Ability to assess CVs, conduct structured interviews, evaluate candidates against job requirements and coordinate hiring decisions with department leads.
Employee relations: Experience handling grievances, disciplinary matters, workplace conflicts and confidential employee issues with fairness and professionalism.
Payroll and attendance: Ability to verify payroll inputs, identify discrepancies and understand the relationship between attendance, leave, deductions and salary calculations.
Performance management: Experience coordinating appraisals, probation reviews, performance improvement plans and employee development discussions.
HR documentation: Strong ability to prepare professional employment documents, HR policies, reports, notices and formal employee communications.
Labour law and compliance: Working knowledge of applicable employment legislation and statutory HR requirements in Pakistan, including relevant social security, EOBI and tax-related processes.
HR systems: Confidence using attendance and payroll systems, spreadsheets and digital employee records.
Reporting and analysis: Ability to maintain accurate HR data, prepare management reports and identify recurring workforce issues through records and trends.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to address difficult conversations and explain policies clearly.

Experience handling employee grievances, disciplinary procedures and performance-related concerns.
The ability to work independently, prioritise competing deadlines and follow issues through to resolution.
Confidence working with senior management and department heads while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
A structured approach to record-keeping, documentation, policy implementation and administrative follow-up.
The ability to communicate decisions clearly, maintain professional relationships and handle sensitive matters without unnecessary escalation.
A proactive approach to identifying HR problems before they affect the wider team.
Experience working in a digital agency, software house, IT company or other fast-paced professional services environment.
Experience managing HR operations for a team of 20 or more employees.
Practical experience using attendance management platform.
Experience preparing HR dashboards, monthly workforce reports and recruitment trackers.

We expect HR records to be accurate, up to date and properly documented.
Employee matters must be handled confidentially, consistently and with sound judgement.
