Job summary

Descon is seeking a proactive HSE professional to lead orientation, plan development, and site safety execution. You will implement HSE plans, welfare measures, and emergency procedures while conducting inspections and incident investigations.

You should communicate effectively in English and drive compliance with HSEMS elements across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (3 Years).
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, HSE Management system training, Any other related HSE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE orientation / induction / awareness sessions for workers.
• Understand and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures and site-specific HSE procedures.
• Develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures and site-specific HSE procedures / work instructions.
• Conduct HSE inspections.
• Understand and implement incident reporting and investigation procedures.
• Demonstrate effective written and spoken English communication.

Work Experience: Minimum Supervisory experience of 3-5 years’ in HSE in any industry.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to conduct HSE orientation / induction/ HSE awareness sessions to workers.
• Ability to understand and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions
• Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects of the proposed division scope of work.
• Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.
• Practical experience in implementation of HSE MS elements.
• Ability to conduct HSE inspections
• Ability to understand and implement incident reporting and investigation procedures
• Ability to speak read and write English with effective communication skills
