Job summary

A leading engineering services company is seeking a qualified HSE Manager to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements on construction projects. This role calls for a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Science, NEBOSH certification, and at least 5 years of experience in construction projects. The successful candidate will develop HSE plans, ensure compliance, and lead safety initiatives to achieve zero harm objectives at work sites. Competitive salary along with project-based contract will be offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction projects (preferably high-rise or residential complexes).
• Strong knowledge of management systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project-Specific HSE Plan in line with company and client requirements.
• Establish HSE objectives, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory laws and international best practices.
• Oversee HSE audits, inspections, and assessments.
• Lead investigation of incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit HSE monthly reports to the client and management.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Supervise HSE Engineers, Officers, and Trainer.
• Promote safety culture and initiatives.
