Job summary

FlowHCM is seeking a seasoned Health, Safety and Fire Specialist to lead comprehensive safety programs in a hospital facility in Pakistan. You will oversee fire prevention, emergency drills, and Code Red readiness, ensuring safe operations and regulatory adherence.

The role requires 3–5 years of safety experience, healthcare exposure, and relevant certifications. You will coordinate inspections, investigations and staff training to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level education with health and safety focus or related discipline.
• Professional safety certifications preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
• Experience in healthcare environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire, environmental and occupational health & safety programs across the facility.
• Manage fire prevention, emergency evacuation drills and Code Red preparedness.
• Monitor fire protection systems, emergency routes and safety infrastructure.
• Ensure compliant segregation, handling and disposal of biomedical and hazardous waste.
• Conduct safety rounds, risk assessments and hazard-mitigation plans.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate fire, environmental and healthcare regulatory inspections.
• Conduct safety, fire and PPE training for medical and non-medical staff.

Bachelor's in Environmental Sciences

B.E./DAE with safety training

Job description

• Bachelor’s in Environmental Sciences, OHS, Chemical Engineering or related field; B.E/DAE with relevant specialized safety training may be considered.
• NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30-Hour, CFPS, ISO 45001/14001 or advanced Fire Safety certification preferred.

Experience :

• 3–5 years’ safety experience, including 2+ years in a tertiary hospital/healthcare setting.
• Experience in fire safety, risk assessment, healthcare waste management, environmental audits and regulatory compliance.
