Job summary

AIO App Inc. in Islamabad is seeking a Hardware Test & Support Engineer to validate reliability of AI-powered embedded devices and serve as the primary technical contact for restaurant deployments.

You will work with prototypes, diagnose PCB-level issues, and handle field-raised tickets while collaborating with hardware, firmware, and operations teams to deliver timely solutions. The role requires hands-on testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
• 0-2 years in hardware testing or technical support.
• Strong PCB design concepts and embedded systems knowledge.
• Experience with lab test equipment and data analysis.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, performance, and stress testing on hardware devices.
• Diagnose PCB-level faults using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
• Build data pipelines to collect test results and production quality metrics.
• Identify trends in test data to surface quality issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Create and update test plans and procedures for validating hardware prototypes.
• Document test results, log defects, and collaborate with the team on resolutions.
• Support quality control processes during production runs and participate in audits.
• Triage incoming tickets and provide on-site troubleshooting guidance for field issues.
• Translate technical findings into actionable guidance for non-technical staff.
• Identify recurring field issues and surface them to hardware team as signals for firmware investigation.
• Own and maintain a knowledge base of known issues and resolutions.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to document root cause and prevent repeats.
