Qualifications

• > Must have experience leading complex technical projects from architecture through delivery.
• > Proficient with embedded systems, firmware, MCUs, SoCs or embedded Linux.
• > Strong software architecture: APIs, system boundaries, runtimes, orchestration, and observability.
• > Interest in AI-driven automation and intelligent engineering tools.
• > Practical intuition for physical systems and hardware interfaces.
• > Ability to reason through noisy, ambiguous system behavior.
• > Experience coordinating work across multiple technical domains.
• > Excellent technical communication and decision documentation.

Responsibilities

• Architect systems for signal ingestion, interpretation, observability, and automated action.
• Define scalable software abstractions for interacting with physical systems.
• Design for noisy, real-world hardware behavior including timing and replayability.
• Provide technical direction for engineering hires and external collaborators.
• Build pipelines for trace capture, signal analysis, protocol inference, and observations.
• Develop automation workflows for rapid experimentation, debugging, and testing.
• Create frameworks for experiment logging, traceability, and reproducibility.
• Explore AI-assisted workflows to accelerate engineering with hardware.
