Job summary

Tech Avenue is hiring for an iOS engineer to join an AI-driven management platform. Work on field-ready apps with intermittent connectivity, focusing on offline-first data, media handling, and real-time APIs.

You'll collaborate with backend, design, QA, and product teams, mentoring juniors while delivering features on schedule. Onsite in Islamabad, contract for 6 months with extension possible; strong emphasis on quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4–5 years of professional native iOS development with apps on the App Store.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain production iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Design architecture for maintainability (MVVM or Clean Architecture).
• Integrate REST and WebSocket APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Implement offline-first data flows with local caching and sync.
• Handle media features like camera, large uploads, and PDF/image annotation.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Release through TestFlight and App Store Connect, align with backend on API contracts.
