GTM Automation Engineer

Job summary

Plutus21 is seeking a GTM Engineer to join our go-to-market team. In this role, you will build and maintain the systems that support how we identify, reach, and convert customers, working across our sales, marketing, and operations functions.

The position sits between engineering and go-to-market. You will be responsible for automating manual revenue processes, connecting the platforms our commercial teams depend on, and building tooling that improves how those teams operate day to day.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in go-to-market engineering or revenue operations.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and common authentication methods.
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to query and transform data.
• Hands-on experience administering or building within a customer relationship management platform.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms.
• Experience with data enrichment and prospecting tools.
• Familiarity with large language models and applying them to business workflows.
• Understanding of how sales, marketing, and customer success functions operate and how they use data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify manual and repetitive processes across the go-to-market function and replace them with automated workflows.
• Build and maintain integrations between the platforms used by sales, marketing, and operations teams.
• Design and implement data enrichment workflows that improve prospect and account records.
• Build lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle management systems.
• Develop AI agents and language model workflows that support research, qualification, drafting, and prioritization tasks.
• Own data integrity across commercial systems, including synchronization, deduplication, and hygiene processes.
• Design and maintain outbound campaign infrastructure, including sequencing, deliverability, and performance tracking.
• Write scripts and services that extend platform functionality beyond what native configuration allows.
• Build internal tools and applications that support commercial workflows.
• Own projects end to end, from problem identification through implementation, deployment, and measurement.
• Instrument the systems you build so that their performance and business impact can be measured.
• Ensure automated workflows remain reliable through monitoring, error handling, retries, and alerting.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations stakeholders to understand process friction and prioritize work accordingly.
• Produce reporting and dashboards that give commercial and executive stakeholders visibility into performance.
• Document the systems you build and enable other team members to operate them.
• Evaluate new tools and platforms and support build or buy decisions with working prototypes.
• Participate in planning and technical decision making across the go-to-market function.
