Seismic is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to lead international payrolls (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, United Kingdom) and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. You will partner with People Ops, Finance, Benefits, and external vendors, drive process improvements, and support audits and regulatory reporting.

In this role, you’ll oversee monthly payroll execution, data accuracy for hires and terminations, and alignment with country-specific tax requirements

Competenze

• 6+ years of experience leading global payroll processing and compliance, with at least 2 years in a senior specialist role.
• Understanding of global payroll legislation, statutory requirements, and compliance frameworks with controls.
• Experience with Cloud Pay and Workday/ADP is required.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle confidential data.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Payroll Execution Lead end-to-end monthly payroll processing globally in partnership with external payroll vendors.
• Ensure accuracy of inputs (new hires, terminations, bonuses, variable pay, leaves, tax declarations, etc.) and timely approvals.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Talent Ops, Finance, Accounting) to align on data accuracy and timelines.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations globally.
• Support preparation and filing for all statutory returns and yearly reports.
• Support audits, ensuring documentation and controls are in place and remediating issues.
• Review and validate vendor deliverables (pay registers, payslips, tax filings).
• Act as the point of contact for global employees on payroll-related questions.
• Drive continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls.
• Generate payroll reports for Finance, HR and management.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors on system integrations, data quality, and automation.
• Support other payroll team members as needed.
• Work closely with all payroll providers.
• Prepare journal entries for all payrolls.
• Assist in the month-end close process.
