Job summary

JazzWorld, part of VEON, is seeking an M&A Analyst to support the development and execution of strategic investment opportunities across VEON markets from Pakistan. You will contribute to financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution, collaborating with teams and external advisors across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA Finance/Accounting and/or ACCA/CFA/CA are preferred.
• 4–6+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, private equity or related fields.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
• Solid understanding of TMT, fintech, and digital business models.
• Understanding of end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence and transaction execution.
• Strong analytical, structuring and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and geographies with an ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of the M&A pipeline across VEON markets.
• Perform financial analysis and valuation (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
• Prepare executive-level materials and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a knowledge bank of TMT, fintech and digital transactions and benchmarks.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence workstreams and external advisors.
• Support transaction execution, including review of key deal documentation.
• Track post-transaction KPIs and performance against the deal rationale.
