Job summary

JazzWorld, part of VEON, is seeking an M&A Analyst based in Pakistan to support the development and execution of strategic investment opportunities across VEON markets. You will contribute to financial analysis, valuation and due diligence, working with teams and external advisers across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA Finance/Accounting and/or ACCA/CFA/CA preferred.
• 4-6+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, private equity or related field.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
• Understanding of TMT, fintech and digital business models.
• Understanding of end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence and transaction execution.
• Strong analytical, structuring and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across geographies.
• Proven experience supporting transactions including screening, financial modelling and due diligence coordination.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Factiva.
• Understanding of legal documentation and key commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of the M&A pipeline across VEON markets.
• Perform financial analysis and valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
• Prepare executive materials and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Build knowledge bank of TMT, fintech and digital transactions and benchmarks.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence workstreams and external advisors.
• Support transaction execution, including review of key deal documents.
• Track post-transaction KPIs and performance against deal rationale.
