Job summary

JazzWorld is Pakistan's fastest-growing digital ecosystem, spanning connectivity, financial services, entertainment, lifestyle and software services. The M&A Analyst will support development and execution of strategic investment opportunities across markets, with exposure to transactions across TMT, fintech and digital sectors.

Based in Pakistan, you will contribute to financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and transaction execution while collaborating with VEON HQ and external advisors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA/ACCA/CFA/CA desirable.
• 4–6+ years in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, PE or related.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (DCF, comps, precedents).
• Solid understanding of TMT, fintech and digital business models.
• End-to-end M&A knowledge: due diligence and deal execution.
• Strong analytical, structuring and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; collaborative across geographies.
• Experience supporting transactions, including screening and coordination.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and financial data platforms (Bloomberg, CapIQ, Refinitiv, Factiva).
• Understanding of legal documentation and key commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of the M&A pipeline across VEON markets.
• Perform financial analysis and valuation, including DCF, comps and precedents.
• Prepare executive materials and presentations for stakeholders.
• Build a knowledge bank of TMT, fintech and digital deals and benchmarks.
• Coordinate due diligence workstreams and external advisors.
• Assist in transaction execution and review of deal docs.
• Track post-transaction KPIs and outcomes against rationale.
