JazzWorld, part of VEON, seeks an M&A Analyst to support strategic investment opportunities across VEON markets. Based in Pakistan, you will contribute to financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence, coordinating with global teams across TMT, fintech and digital sectors.

You’ll own pipeline development, prepare executive materials, and track post-deal performance, collaborating with stakeholders globally to drive strategic growth.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 4–6+ years in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, private equity or related field.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
• Solid understanding of TMT, fintech and digital business models.
• Understanding of end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence and execution.
• Strong analytical, structuring and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and geographies with ownership mindset.
• Proven experience supporting transactions, including screening, modelling and due diligence coordination.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial data platforms (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Factiva).
• Understanding of legal documentation and key commercial terms.

JazzWorld is part of VEON, a global digital operator with businesses spanning connectivity, fintech and digital services. The Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will support the development and execution of strategic investment opportunities across VEON markets.

Reporting directly to the Director, Mergers and Acquisitions at VEON HQ, the role will contribute to financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and transaction execution, working with teams and external advisors across functions and geographies.

Based in Pakistan, this role offers global exposure and an opportunity to support transactions across the TMT, fintech and digital sectors.

What you’ll own

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA Finance/Accounting and/or ACCA/CFA/CA

• Have 4-6+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, private equity, venture capital or a related field.

• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).

• Solid understanding of TMT, fintech, and digital business models.

• Understanding of the end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence and transaction execution.

• Strong analytical, structuring, and problem-solving skills.
