JazzWorld, part of VEON, is seeking an M&A Analyst based in Pakistan to support the development and execution of strategic investment opportunities across VEON markets. You will contribute to financial analysis, valuation and due diligence, working with teams and external advisers across geographies.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA Finance/Accounting and/or ACCA/CFA/CA preferred.
• 4-6+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, private equity or related field.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
• Understanding of TMT, fintech and digital business models.
• Understanding of end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence and transaction execution.
• Strong analytical, structuring and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across geographies.
• Proven experience supporting transactions including screening, financial modelling and due diligence coordination.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Factiva.
• Understanding of legal documentation and key commercial terms.

JazzWorld is part of VEON, a global digital operator with businesses spanning connectivity, fintech and digital services. The Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will support the development and execution of strategic investment opportunities across VEON markets.

Reporting directly to the Director, Mergers and Acquisitions at VEON HQ, the role will contribute to financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and transaction execution, working with teams and external advisors across functions and geographies.

Based in Pakistan, this role offers global exposure and an opportunity to support transactions across the TMT, fintech and digital sectors.

What you’ll own

• Support development and maintenance of the M&A pipeline across VEON markets.

• Perform financial analysis and valuation, including DCF, comparable-company and precedent-transaction analysis.

• Prepare executive-level materials and presentations for internal stakeholders.

• Build and maintain a knowledge bank of TMT, fintech and digital transactions and peer benchmarks.

• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence workstreams and external advisors.

• Support transaction execution, including preparation and review of key deal documentation.

• Track post-transaction KPIs and performance against the original deal rationale.

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA Finance/Accounting and/or ACCA/CFA/CA

• Have 4-6+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development/M&A, private equity, venture capital or a related field.

• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).

• Solid understanding of TMT, fintech, and digital business models.

• Understanding of the end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence and transaction execution.

• Strong analytical, structuring, and problem-solving skills.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies with a high ownership mindset.

• Proven experience supporting transactions, including screening, financial modelling, and due diligence coordination.

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial data and market intelligence platforms (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Factiva).

• Understanding of legal documentation and key commercial terms.
