Job summary

Qualifications

• University studies in gender studies or related field is required.
• Enrolment in graduate school or final year of first degree acceptable, or graduation with plan to commence internship within two years.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day programme support across UN Women projects and thematic areas.
• Assist in compiling, organizing and maintaining programme information, records and presentations.
• Support desk research and analysis on gender equality and related themes.
• Assist in preparing background notes, briefs, talking points and meeting materials.
• Support monitoring and documentation of programme activities, including data collection and evidence.
• Coordinate meetings, trainings, events and action points; prepare agendas and attendance records.
• Assist with preparation, formatting and quality review of programme documents and donor reporting.
• Contribute inputs for periodic reporting and management information.
• Support development of communication materials, success stories and event summaries.
