Job summary

The Aga Khan University Hospital (Pakistan) is seeking a Specialist for the Global Data & Analytics Office to lead BI initiatives and manage scalable data pipelines in support of analytics projects. You will coordinate requirements, ensure data quality, and collaborate with governance teams across AKU.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of BI/analytics experience, strong SQL, Power BI expertise, and experience with healthcare data integration and data warehousing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Applied Mathematics or related discipline.
• Master’s degree in CS or related technical field.
• Professional certification in a relevant field is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with BI, analytics or data engineering.
• Expert SQL plus hands-on ETL / data visualization tools.
• Experience with healthcare data integration and ETL/ELT techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and Power BI Report Server.
• Knowledge of R and Python.
• Ability to lead data and analytics initiatives and work with governance teams.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate BI application implementation and maintenance for the GDAO.
• Develop scalable data pipelines to support analytics projects.
• Gather business requirements and document scope for BI solutions.
• Collaborate with data governance and analytics teams to improve data quality.
• Handle day-to-day operational issues following established policies.
• Mentor stakeholders on data modeling, reporting, and data visualization.
