Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is seeking a Data Management & Analytics Specialist in Pakistan to support enterprise data management, data integration, data engineering, BI, data modeling, and governance activities. The ideal candidate will work with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, Purview, and erwin to deliver governed, analytics-ready data.

Hybrid work model with exposure to international clients and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to drive data requirements and governance

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in Data Management, Data Engineering, BI, Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong experience with Databricks for data processing and transformation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Experience with data modeling, including logical and physical data models.
• Experience with erwin or similar enterprise data modeling tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview and data governance concepts.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data integration, data quality, metadata, lineage, and data lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, international, and client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end data management and data lifecycle activities.
• Design and implement data ingestion and integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and maintain data processing, transformation, and integration pipelines using Databricks.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
• Design, document, and maintain logical and physical data models using erwin or equivalent data modeling tools.
• Support Microsoft Purview activities including data cataloging, metadata management, data lineage, and governance.
• Monitor and improve data quality, completeness, consistency, accuracy, and availability.
• Identify and resolve data issues across source systems and data platforms.
• Ensure data is appropriately structured, documented, governed, and available for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with business users, data teams, architects, and technology stakeholders to understand and deliver data requirements.
• Contribute to data management standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support data governance, compliance, and reporting requirements as needed.
