Qualifications

• Engineering Graduate preferably Electrical / Mechanical / Petroleum and Gas / Chemical with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation and maintenance of MPL-I, maintain ROW, Leak Survey, Vehicle Patrolling, Minor Civil Repair, Paint on Installation.
• Analyze the system for troubleshooting and pressure limits and support in pipeline operation & maintenance activities.
• Keep adequate vigilance of pipeline right of way and civil maintenance work and assist in installation & commissioning tasks on the network.
• Provide technical assistance to the team for completion of tasks on time.
• Under direction of higher-level engineers, develop, revise and maintain construction and operating procedures to meet safety, regulatory and reliability needs.
• Interface with and support Planning & Development, SCADA, and Corrosion Control.
• Comply with the risk management framework.
• Participate in risk management activities and ensure risks are identified, reported and managed.
• Receive training in risk management and perform daily HQ administration tasks.
• Maintain HQ installations with regards minor repairs and part replacements.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to assist and work in all operation and maintenance tasks on SSGC Transmission Pipe Line for the smooth and uninterrupted supply of natural gas. Responsibility is to perform operation and maintenance of MPL-I installation etc.

• Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
