Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Pakistan is seeking a GBV Case Worker to implement survivor-centered case management, identify GBV risks, conduct assessments, and coordinate referrals with health, legal, and protection services.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in social sciences, education, or related field from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience in GBV, protection, case management or humanitarian programming preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills; fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess GBV risks, needs and vulnerabilities of individuals and families.
• Provide survivor-centered case management in line with IRC policies and GBV guiding principles.
• Conduct intake, assessment, safety planning, case planning, follow-up and case closure.
• Develop individualized case action plans with survivors and support informed decisions.
• Provide safe referrals to health, MHPSS, legal, protection, and other services.
• Follow up on referrals to ensure continuity and quality of services, respecting survivor consent and confidentiality.
• Maintain confidential case records and documentation in approved systems.
• Identify high-risk cases and escalate promptly.
• Conduct community outreach and awareness on GBV risks and referral pathways.
• Participate in coordination meetings, trainings and capacity-building activities.
