Job summary

DHL Express in Karachi is seeking an entry-level logistics specialist to screen, process, and move shipments with precision and care. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure handling, on-time departures, and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1-2 years’ experience in gateway operations, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. An international, customer-centric team awaits your contribution.

Qualifications

• Minimum Intermediate cleared with 1-2 years’ experience ideally in Gateway Operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Screen and process shipments in compliance with aviation security and DHL procedures.
• Ensure shipments are processed in time to meet flight departure cut-offs.
• Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently in accordance with operational standards.
• Handle shipments with due care to prevent damage, loss, or security breaches.
• Ensure timely movement of shipments between Gateway and Service Centers.
• Scan, sort, and process shipments accurately and on time.
• Follow security procedures, GSOP, and quality standards at all times.
• Report shipment discrepancies, damages, shortages, and security-related incidents.
• Monitor shipment inventory and maintain accurate operational records.
• Support customs and security compliance requirements for all shipments.
• Respond to shipment-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
