Job summary

Nayatel in Lahore, Pakistan seeks a fresh graduate for network planning and FTTH initiatives. You will develop expertise in fiber optics, link budgeting, GIS-based mapping, and planning SOPs while coordinating with installation teams and cross-functional departments.

You will conduct surveys, estimate costs, update plans with as-built information, and drive proactive issue tracking and process improvements under guidance from management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom/Mechatronics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform network planning activities by developing strong command over fiber optics fundamentals, FTTH topology, link budgeting, Nayatel network design, cabling standards, and transmission/planning SOPs.
• Conduct surveys to identify potential coverage areas, prepare FTTH network plans, perform technical surveys and cost estimations, and update plans as per as-built information.
• Utilize GIS tools for map building, network mapping, record keeping of plans/maps, and support planning decisions for network expansion and execution.
• Coordinate with installation teams, customers, and cross-functional departments (Development/Civil, Cable Pulling, Tx, O&M, etc.) to support smooth execution and implementation of network plans.
• Demonstrate proactive ownership by tracking issues to closure, reporting efficiency-impacting events, proposing improvement initiatives, supporting financial feasibility analysis, and performing additional tasks assigned by management.
