Latvia-based startup seeks an experienced accounting professional to own the full accounting cycle and lead the migration from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Qualifikationen

• Proven experience handling full accounting cycle in European contexts.
• Experience with accounting, taxation, and reporting in European countries; Latvian requirements a plus.
• Hands-on setup and configuration of Dynamics 365 BC for real operations and migrations.
• Ability to translate business needs into proper accounting configurations and verify postings.
• Experience using AI agents or AI-assisted automation in finance.

Aufgaben

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, AP/AR, invoicing, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
• Execute month-end/year-end closings, reconciliations, accruals and supporting docs.
• Configure and maintain Business Central: COA, posting groups, VAT, banking and workflows.
• Lead migration from QuickBooks to Business Central end-to-end.
• Prepare Latvian tax and statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, payroll-related obligations).
• Handle international customers, suppliers, currencies, and cross-border transactions.
• Oversee cash-flow forecasts, budgets, and management reporting.
• Configure and supervise AI agents in accounting workflows; verify outputs.
