Job summary

M365connect is seeking a finance professional to own all accounting and financial operations in a fully remote role. You will migrate from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, configure the system, and supervise AI agents that assist in documentation, reconciliations and reporting.

You will handle Latvian tax reporting, cross-border transactions, cash flow planning, and financial controls while maintaining data traceability and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with full accounting cycle for European companies.
• Experience with accounting, tax and statutory reporting in European contexts, Latvian rules advantageous.
• Able to configure and migrate to Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC and manage data migration.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping incl. AP/AR and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end/year-end close and financial reporting.
• Configure and maintain Business Central, chart of accounts and VAT setup.
• Migrate QuickBooks to Business Central with data mapping and validation.
• Prepare Latvian tax and statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, payroll).
• Manage international transactions and currency handling.
• Oversee cash flow, budgets and management reporting.
• Define and supervise AI agents in accounting workflows.
