Job summary

M365Consult seeks a Chartered Accountant and TAX Lawyer for a long-term engagement in Latvia. You will manage bookkeeping, tax matters, and financial reporting for a growing European startup focusing on Microsoft solutions.

The role requires CA certification, EU tax knowledge, and strong research and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with experience in accounting and tax tasks, including acting as a tax lawyer.
• Knowledge of taxation aligned with EU standards.
• Proficient in research using engines and AI tools for information gathering.
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation.
• Ability to improve financial processes and maintain organized records.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Research financial regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
• Act as the sole contact for financial activities, including tax matters.
• Coordinate communications between stakeholders and Latvian authorities.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management.
• Maintain audit-ready financial records for audits.
