Job summary

Latvia-based startup is seeking a finance professional to own accounting and system configuration using AI agents. You’ll migrate QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, handle Latvian tax reporting and cross-border transactions, and supervise AI-assisted workflows.

You’ll build and maintain the chart of accounts, posting groups, VAT setup and financial processes while ensuring accuracy and audit trails, working remotely with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with full accounting cycle in one or more European countries.
• Experience in accounting, taxation and statutory reporting for European countries; Latvian requirements a plus.
• Hands-on setup and configuration of Dynamics 365 BC for real operations and migration.
• Ability to translate business needs into proper accounting configurations and verifications.
• Experience with AI-assisted automation in finance; supervisory oversight of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, closing and reporting.
• Lead migration from QuickBooks to Business Central end-to-end without external partners.
• Configure and maintain Business Central, COA, VAT, bank accounts and financial workflows.
• Prepare Latvian tax and statutory reporting incl. VAT and corporate tax.
• Coordinate AI agents tasks, supervise outputs and ensure data integrity.
