Job summary

M365connect, a Latvia-based startup, is seeking a finance professional to own accounting and system configuration end-to-end. You will migrate QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, supervise AI agents, and ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance under Latvian rules.

You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly closings, and cash planning while collaborating closely with the founder in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Must have professional working proficiency in English and ability to work with Latvian-language financial documents.
• Experience managing full accounting cycle for European companies.
• Hands-on setup and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for real accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, payables/receivables, invoicing, expenses and bank reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, with balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.
• Configure and maintain Business Central including COA, posting groups and VAT setup.
