Job summary

Murkez Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a BPO or shared services environment. The role emphasizes maintaining financial accuracy and supporting audit processes across transaction operations.

Key responsibilities include transaction processing and reconciliation, audit support, and process improvement, with hands-on work in QuickBooks and strong knowledge of U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA/CA or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop and strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Review, clean, and reconcile daily store transactions including sales, refunds, fuel purchases, and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expense categorization.
• Generate periodic financial reports, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights to improve financial accuracy.
• Assist in internal audits by preparing documentation and resolving transaction-level queries.
