Job summary

Abbott in Lahore is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to perform planned maintenance activities and hardware/software upgrades. The role includes back-up first line service, assisting with installations and deinstallations, and travel within the service area.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical) and 4–5 years of relevant experience, with proven customer-facing capabilities and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; preferably BE/ME in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical.
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line service to customers (service interventions which may require less than 4 hours labor time).
• Schedule and perform planned/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) activities.
• Schedule, perform and document hardware and software updates (TSBs).
• Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations.
• Travel within the service area.
