Interwood in Lahore is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate and monitor production operations, ensuring targets are met and orders are delivered on time.

You will track production progress, manage inventory, coordinate with multiple departments, and support quality and dispatch activities using SAP and advanced Excel reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2–3 years' experience in production planning or supply chain, with strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Supply Chain).
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain operations.
• Strong command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, order processing, and dispatch coordination.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments to ensure smooth operational activities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and results-driven.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure execution of production plans according to targets and timelines.
• Conduct regular shop-floor visits to monitor progress and resolve issues for timely completion of planned jobs.
• Track actual production performance against targets and provide updates on pending, delayed, and completed jobs.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve operational issues and minimize production delays.
• Identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement in workflow and resource utilization.
• Prepare periodic production progress reports and communicate order status to dispatch.

To coordinate and monitor production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, achievement of production targets, and timely completion of customer orders. The role involves monitoring production progress, coordinating with relevant departments, addressing operational challenges, and supporting quality compliance, material availability, and timely order delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure execution of production plans according to established targets and timelines
• Conduct regular shop-floor visits to monitor production progress, identify operational issues, and ensure timely completion of planned jobs
• Track actual production performance against planned targets and provide regular updates on pending, delayed, and completed jobs
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and minimize production delays.
• Monitor shop-floor activities to identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate order status updates and ensure timely communication regarding order progress and readiness.
• Support dispatch planning and follow up to facilitate timely delivery of completed orders.
• Monitor rework activities and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Identify material shortages and highlight potential risks that may affect production schedules.
• Participate in production review meetings and follow up on pending operational activities.
• Maintain production records and prepare periodic reports on production progress and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, workflow coordination, and resource utilization.
