Job summary

Interwood Mobel in Lahore is seeking a Lead for Stock Retail orders Projects to oversee end-to-end planning, monitoring and execution of KDW and retail projects. You will coordinate dispatch, production follow-up, and ensure timelines and quality.

The role requires coordinating with sales, design, MRP and stock teams to develop production plans, manage open IPNs, and generate progress reports. A hands-on leader who can streamline processes and communicate exceptions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open production orders from booking to readiness, aligning dispatch with sales.
• Monitor open IPNS reports for new IPNs and orders; plan production from stock needs.
• Develop and maintain production plan for stock-based projects with material and timelines.
• Resolve design or material issues in coordination with Design/MRP/Sales.
• Coordinate with production to meet timelines and address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Sales and Stock to fulfill old open orders and IPNs.
• Create monthly dispatch plans for stock and non-stock items.
• Oversee dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery to clients.
• Generate reports on project progress and exceptions with corrective actions.

Job description

The Lead for Stock Retail orders Projects is responsible for the end-to-end planning, monitoring, and execution of Kitchen, Doors, and Wardrobe (KDW) and retail projects. This role encompasses project planning, order fulfillment, production follow-up, and dispatch management, with a focus on meeting delivery timelines and maintaining quality standards. Additionally, the Lead will provide exception reporting and insights to enhance project performance and ensure customer satisfaction.

1. 1. Monitor Open production orders from Order booking till readiness specifically aligning dispatch requirement with sales team
2. 2. Monitor open IPNS report for new IPNs, open customer orders report for client’s stock requirement, make production plan based on stock requirement from stock team, open IPNs and WIP.
3. 3. Develop, maintain and implement comprehensive production plan for stock based projects in production planning module and trackers including timelines for material requirement (considering loading capacity), production and readiness for dispatches (incase dispatch is staggered in a project)
4. 4. Resolve challenges related to design or material in coordination with Design/MRP/Sales (which ever have the tendency to resolve that particular issue) that appears during the production process.
5. 5. Coordinate with production teams to monitor and ensure adherence of committed timelines of ongoing projects and IPNs according to the plan and highlighting and addressing any bottlenecks in processes or materials that could potentially cause a delay in a IPN.
6. 6. Coordinate with Sales & Stock team (proactively communicate exceptions to sales) for old open orders & IPNs till sales order & IPN closure by fulfilling the requirement of manufactured & imported finished goods appliances, accessories or hardware.
7. 7. Develop monthly dispatch plan considering non-stock production plan, stock & imported items. Also Monitor and update the dispatch plan considering contribution from production for both stock & non-Stock, imported and local items,
8. 8. Oversee dispatch activities to ensure timely and quality-compliant delivery of completed projects to clients.
9. 9. Generate regular reports on project progress and exceptions, highlighting areas needing attention and suggesting corrective actions.
