The incumbent will implement IT security protocols, streamline service delivery, and ensure reliable communications while managing user access and GDPR compliance in a multinational logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of IT experience in a multinational or renowned logistics company.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of IT procedures and policies.
• Ability to influence individuals and teams to achieve goals.
• Strong management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for offering and delivering adequate & effective IT support service to the business managing upcountry staff and other stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead Country IT infrastructure (e.g., Telecoms, End User Support) and mitigating cyber threats. Deliver the required service at the best value through efficient and standardized IT service delivery and leverages modern technologies for optimal performance.
• Implementing and managing Country IT Security protocols and addressing cyber threats.
• Streamlining Country IT Service Delivery to enhance overall productivity.
• Utilizing cutting-edge Country IT Infrastructure Technologies to optimize IT performance and scalability.
• Ensuring reliable Telecom communication systems in the Country that facilitate effective collaboration across teams.
• Managing Country User Access Rights to ensure appropriate levels of access to systems and data.
• As an added role, support the safeguarding of data, including compliance with GDPR.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in IT department at a multinational or renowned local logistics company.
• Bachelor's/ Master’s degree preferably in related field from reputable institution.
• Proficient knowledge of IT procedure and policies.
• Ability to influence individuals and teams in order to achieve set or desired goals and objectives.
• Must have good management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
