Job summary

PTCL Group is seeking a Procurement professional in Islamabad to manage project procurement, RFQs via SAP Ariba, and cross-functional coordination with Technology, Administration, Finance and Logistics. The role focuses on timely, compliant, and cost-effective purchasing with strong reporting duties.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of procurement experience, a finance or supply chain degree, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract drafting. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management or any relevant degree.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract drafting & negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for assigned projects and purchase requisitions, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
• Prepare and float RFQs through SAP Ariba, coordinate vendor clarifications, and support fair and transparent bid evaluations.
• Prepare RFQs, comparative statements, attachments, and other procurement documentation in SAP.
• Coordinate with Technology, Administration, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and Regional teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Ensure timely approvals, Purchase Order creation, and order placement in SAP.
• Generate and maintain weekly/monthly reports related to PRs, POs, and procurement activities.
• Prepare Project Status Reports, open PO reports, and procurement cycle reports.
• Coordinate with Finance for budget confirmation, payment processing, and vendor settlements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and documentation requirements.
