Job summary

AWL Agri Business Group is seeking an experienced boiler operator to operate and monitor high- and low-pressure boiler systems at our facility. The role requires regular inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of boilers and auxiliary equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety and boiler codes.

You will monitor gauges and control systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain detailed logs of operating conditions and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boiler systems.

Job description

Operate and monitor high-pressure and low-pressure boiler systems.

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of boilers and auxiliary equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, feedwater systems).
• Maintain optimal operating parameters by monitoring gauges, meters, and control systems.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations in accordance with boiler codes and company policies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler malfunctions, and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
• Maintain detailed logs of operating conditions, maintenance actions, and safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards (e.g., IBR, ASME, OSHA).
• Assist in boiler start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Participate in emergency response situations related to boiler systems.
• Sound mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems for boiler control.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and P&IDs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
