Job summary

Sapphire Finishing Mills in Raiwind, Punjab seeks a B-Tech/DAE engineer (C/B Class) for biomass plant operations. You will manage startup/shutdown of the plant and auxiliary equipment, including the turbine, and troubleshoot faults during trips.

Experience with back-pressured steam turbines and boiler water chemistry is essential. A hands-on, safety-focused approach and problem-solving mindset are required to ensure reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-pressure biomass power plant operations.
• Ability to start up and shut down plant and auxiliary equipment including turbines.
• Capability to diagnose faults during plant trips.
• Understanding of boiler water chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise biomass plant equipment and turbines.
• Troubleshoot faults and manage plant trips effectively.
• Coordinate startup/shutdown sequences and routine maintenance.
