Job summary
Confidential Company seeks an experienced Exchange & Cloud Architect to manage a hybrid messaging environment with Exchange Server 2019 on-premises and Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. You will lead migration projects, secure the environment, and support broader cloud, server, and backup operations.
Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years in Microsoft messaging and cloud technologies, hands-on Exchange 2019 administration, and proven Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- Microsoft, cloud, infrastructure certifications are an advantage.
- Exchange architecture and operations experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud migration is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Administer Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online in a hybrid configuration.
- Lead Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration projects including mailbox migration and cutover.
- Manage identity and directory services including Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, AD, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Administer Windows Server and Linux servers including Hyper-V virtualization.
- Implement and maintain email security, WAF, SSL/TLS, and related security controls.
- Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for messaging and infrastructure systems.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues across messaging and cloud environments.
- Maintain technical documentation and communicate project status and changes to stakeholders.
- Support broader cloud initiatives across Azure, with knowledge of AWS and OCI.

The role will lead Exchange 2019 to Office 365 migration initiatives and support broader cloud, server, virtualization, security, and backup operations.
- Administer and maintain Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online in a hybrid configuration
- Lead planning and execution of Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration projects, including mailbox migration and cutover
- Manage identity and directory services including Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Administer Windows Server and Linux server environments, including Hyper-V virtualization
- Implement and maintain email security, WAF, SSL/TLS, and related security controls
- Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for messaging and infrastructure systems

- Cloud migration planning, mailbox migration, troubleshooting, monitoring, documentation
- 5–7 years of experience in Microsoft messaging, infrastructure, and cloud technologies
- Hands-on experience with Exchange Server 2019 administration and Exchange Hybrid deployments
- Proven experience leading Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 / Office 365 migration projects
Microsoft 365 & Exchange
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)
- Exchange Online Administrator or equivalent messaging certification
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Windows / Hybrid Infrastructure
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant Microsoft, cloud, infrastructure, and security certifications will be considered an added advantage
