Position Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, security, and governance of the Microsoft 365 environment. The role manages user lifecycle activities, licensing, creation, modification, closure, becakup, reporting, compliance-related tasks, and provides high-level administration across Microsoft 365 services while ensuring service availability, security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user onboarding, modifications, and offboarding including account creation, deletion, disabling, and access reviews.
- Administer and track Microsoft 365 licenses, ensuring optimal utilization and maintaining license inventory records.
- Perform high-level administration and support for Microsoft Entra ID (Identity),Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security, Power Platform, SharePoint Online (site permissions, access management, and basic administration)
- Support user authentication, password resets, MFA enrollment, and identity-related troubleshooting.
- Manage mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, mailbox permissions, and email flow troubleshooting.
- Assist with Microsoft Teams administration, policies, user management, and collaboration support.
- Conduct eDiscovery and Content Search activities through Microsoft Purview.
- Download and archive departed user mailbox data (PST) as per approved requests and retention requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of user onboarding/offboarding, license allocation, PST exports, and compliance activities in Excel.
- Generate periodic reports related to users, licenses, security, mailbox usage, and administrative activities.
- Monitor Microsoft 365 service health, security alerts, and audit logs; escalate issues when required.
- Support implementation and maintenance of security controls, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative and reporting tasks.
- Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and management reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and Microsoft support for issue resolution.
- Resource management addition deletion.
Required Skills
- Hands on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft 365 Security.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SharePoint Online administration.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 plans, user and license management.
- Knowledge of eDiscovery, Content Search, and PST export processes.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and Excel record-keeping skills.
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Microsoft 365 Administration experience in a large enterprise environment. Microsoft certifications will be considered an added advantage.
