Job summary

MariEnergies is seeking an IT Technician to ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization’s networks, hardware, and communication systems. You will deploy IT infrastructure, provide Level 1/2 support, and maintain documentation and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with strong technical expertise, proactive system monitoring, and effective user support, based in Quetta, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, DAE in IT, Telecom or Electronics with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Oil & Gas field/rig experience is highly valued.
• CCNA/HCNA, NSE‑4 training or certifications are preferable.
• Hands‑on experience with UBNT network / Wi‑Fi equipment & Sophos Firewalls.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, NMS, FTP & File Servers.
• Strong communication skills and a hardworking aptitude to ensure effective task management.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain wired and wireless network devices including switches, firewalls, and APs/controllers.
• Set up desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, video conferencing systems and peripheral devices with OS/software.
• Install and manage CCTV systems (Cameras, NVRs/DVRs).
• Manage IP-based phone systems (Avaya, Grandstream, Elastix, FreePBX).
• Monitor health/performance of IT hardware, internet connections, and network devices; generate reports and escalate issues.
