Job summary

The World Food Programme seeks an IT Operations Officer (Digital Services) for multiple locations within Pakistan. The role focuses on developing and maintaining IT solutions to enable staff to deliver food assistance, with responsibilities ranging from system deployment to governance and training.

Qualified candidates have a university degree in IT or related field and at least 3 years of information management experience; English and Urdu fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Advanced University degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Development or related field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience or trainings.
• Experience: 3 years of Professional / Managerial experience in Information Management and System Development, preferably with International Organization.
• Language: Fluency in English and Urdu.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of plans and budgets and manage deployment of IT/TC systems.
• Monitor and maintain IT/TC systems and networks with data security and access controls.
• Prepare reports on IT/TC activities, investments and costs and identify cost-efficiency ideas.
• Guide and supervise junior staff and provide training as needed.
• Develop and deploy IT systems aligned with business needs and document technical specs.
