Responsibilities

• Achieve export sales targets through existing and new international clients.
• Identify and develop new export markets, customers, and opportunities.
• Understand client requirements and recommend furniture, KDW, and interior joinery solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle including inquiries, quotations, tenders, negotiations, and order closure.
• Ensure timely response to international client inquiries and maintain follow-ups.
• Coordinate with Design, Costing, SCM, Production, Quality, and Logistics for smooth order execution.
• Maintain margins through costing and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure pre-delivery inspection and compliance before dispatch.
• Monitor sales pipeline, performance, and market trends; provide management reports.
• Support and develop the Export Sales team to achieve targets.

Interwood is looking for a commercially driven and internationally focused Deputy Manager - Export Sales to grow our export business, develop new markets, and manage international clients from opportunity identification through successful order execution.

We are particularly looking for someone with a strong understanding of Kitchens, Doors & Wardrobes, Interior Joinery, Furniture, and customized interior solutions, along with hands-on exposure to export/project sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve export sales targets through existing and new international clients.
• Identify and develop new export markets, customers, and business opportunities.
• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate furniture, KDW, and interior joinery solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle including inquiries, presentations, quotations, tenders, negotiations, and order closure.
• Ensure timely response to international client inquiries and maintain strong follow-ups.
• Coordinate with Design, Costing, SCM, Production, Quality, and Logistics for smooth order execution and deliveries.
• Maintain healthy margins through effective costing and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure pre-delivery inspection and compliance with customer requirements before dispatch.
• Monitor sales pipeline, performance, and market trends and provide periodic management reports.
• Support and develop the Export Sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a relevant discipline
• Relevant experience in Export Sales / International Business Development, preferably within Furniture, KDW, Interior Joinery, Fit-Out, Building Materials, or related industries
• Strong understanding of international customers, export markets, and project-based sales
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
