Job summary

S&P Global Energy seeks a Datafeed Solutions Specialist to resolve complex client issues and manage technical escalations across APIs, WebSocket, and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with Commercial, Product, and Technology teams to enable data delivery, mentor Analysts, and contribute to knowledge management and ongoing improvements.

The role involves working with emerging technologies, including AI-enabled workflows, MCP, AIRD, and data integration platforms, to strengthen client support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience handling technical inquiries, escalations, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience in technical support, API support, data support, or similar environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide guidance to colleagues.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, and cloud-delivery technologies.
• Exposure to AI-ready datasets, AI workflows, or related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical escalation point for Analysts and clients, providing advanced troubleshooting and investigation support.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving APIs, WebSocket, authentication, entitlements, cloud platforms, connectivity, dataset delivery, and client integrations.
• Manage technical escalations, incidents, migrations, onboarding activities, and infrastructure changes, coordinating with multiple teams.
• Identify recurring or systemic issues and drive escalation and resolution efforts.
• Support emerging technologies and AI-enabled workflows, MCP, AIRD, and related data-delivery platforms.
• Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to Analysts and colleagues.
