Job summary

Hirestaff.ai is seeking an HR Reporting Analyst to develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting and analytics for HR and Recruiting. You will transform data from multiple systems into accurate reporting that supports operations and executive decisions, with a focus on Excel, automation, and Power BI.

The role involves building dashboards, automating reports, and ensuring data accuracy across sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data analytics or related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in HR/Recruiting reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain recurring HR and Recruiting reports using advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Create reporting templates, dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions.
• Collect, clean, validate, reconcile, and standardize data from multiple business systems.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for HR, Recruiting, and Operations leadership.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations when appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and reporting standards.
• Maintain a high level of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports.
• Support HR and Recruiting leadership with reporting requests and special projects.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business reporting requirements into scalable reporting solutions that can support future system development.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving reporting and analytics for the HR and Recruiting functions. The HR & Recruiting Reporting Analyst transforms data from multiple business systems into accurate, actionable reporting that supports day-to-day operations and executive decision-making. The role is heavily focused on advanced Microsoft Excel, reporting automation, dashboard development, and data quality while supporting future reporting initiatives through Power BI and other business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain recurring HR and Recruiting reports using advanced Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related analytical field preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting HR, Recruiting, Finance, or Operations reporting is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic formulas, conditional formatting, charts, dashboards).
• Power BI dashboard creation and report development preferred.
• Experience working with CSV files, Excel exports, and data from multiple business systems.
• Experience with SQL, Power Automate, VBA, or Python is a plus.

Success in the Role:
