Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise uninterrupted operation of the transmission system to deliver gas at identified pressures and volumes.
• Prepare gas pipeline operations and management plan ensuring integrity of gas supply in the transmission network.
• Formulate gas network strategies in line with operation & maintenance considerations.
• Prepare pressure profiling at stations/headquarters and maintain requested pressure by distribution.
• Ensure maintenance and calibration of instrumentation controlling the transmission network.
• Monitor delta differential pressure across filters and scrubbers; manage leakage surveys for maintenance and rehabilitation.
• Oversee installation and data fetching of flow computer data recorders; service and grease control valves/regulators.
• Supervise installation of SMS (Sales Meter Station) and regulation stations.
• Monitor remote actuated valves with SCADA and calibrate safety valves and pressure gauges.
• Oversee activities to minimize UFG through analysis and risk-aware strategies.

Engineering Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Petroleum and Gas / Chemical with at least 9 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise proper and uninterrupted operation of the transmission system in respective regions so that natural gas is obtained from sources and made available to distribution at identified pressures and volumes.
• Prepare Gas Pipe Line operations and management plan and implement it accordingly while ensuring integrity management of gas supply in transmission network
• Formulate the gas network strategies and implement in line with gas operation & maintenance keeping in view gas availability from various sources.
• Prepare pressure profiling on stations/headquarters and maintain requested pressure by distribution
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of instrumentation controlling the transmission network through regular checking and validation.
• Ensure proper monitoring of delta differential pressure across filter separators and scrubbers and controls and manage leakage survey to carry out maintenance activities and rehabilitation
• Oversee installing, maintaining and data fetching of flow computer digital data recorders and other equipment (solar) and manage servicing & greasing of control valves and regulator and Oil level check and maintenance of auto actuated valves.

• Oversee maintenance of control instruments at SMS, Filter separator, MPL-I regulator set up & inter connection valve and schedule maintenance of ball valves and regulators
• Participate in technical evaluation of bids received from vendors for various transmission network related projects and supervise installation and commissioning of new main pipe line segments and undertake project management activities including project scheduling
• Gather data to develop reports for senior management on regulatory affairs regarding OGRA technical matters pertaining to gas supply and its tariff and UFG
• Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
• Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
• Monitor risks and response strategies under management.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
• Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
